"About My Services and Approach"

A horse’s body is supported by a complex, interconnected musculoskeletal system made up of muscles, joints, connective tissue, fascia, nerves, and blood vessels. This system allows the horse to stand, move, and function comfortably every day.

When any part of this musculoskeletal system becomes inactive or restricted, a horse may compensate in its movement. These compensations can lead to decreased performance, discomfort, pain patterns, and behavioral changes that are often misunderstood.

My approach focuses on identifying areas of inactivity, restriction, scar tissue, and discomfort. I then apply targeted manual and tool-assisted techniques to help restore healthy function and promote the horse’s natural ability to move freely.

With over 25 years of experience and nearly 30,000 therapy sessions completed, I draw upon a wide range of therapeutic techniques. My goal is to activate inactive or restricted areas so your horse’s body can perform at its best with ease and comfort.

Since training with Dr. William L. Inman—a pioneering functional veterinarian—in 2005, I have developed a specialized expertise in recognizing subtle tissue restrictions and helping horses overcome a variety of movement and comfort challenges.

Below, you will find a brief overview of the techniques and technology I use to support my equine bodywork program.
