MC Kidd

My love for horses began at a very young age. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an equestrian performer, never imagining that my passion for horses would eventually become a much deeper calling.

Over the years, my journey with horses led me beyond riding and performance and into understanding the horse as a whole—body, movement, nervous system, emotions, and energetic experience.

Today, my passion is helping horses feel better in their bodies and move with greater comfort, freedom, and ease. I am dedicated to supporting each horse as an individual, listening to what their body is communicating and helping them maintain the balance and mobility they need to feel their best and continue doing what they love.

For me, this work is about more than bodywork. It is about creating a deeper connection with the horse and honoring the incredible beings they are.

My Equine Bodywork Background

My professional journey in equine bodywork began in 2000, when I started working toward certification as an Equine Body Worker. In 2001, I completed all of the requirements and earned my Equine Body Worker (EBW) certification.

That same year, I continued expanding my knowledge by completing Equinology’s Advanced Equine Massage Techniques course. My commitment to understanding the horse as a whole continued in 2007, when I completed Equinology’s Understanding Equine Nutrition course, presented by a veterinarian from Rutgers University.

In 2005, I completed the education and certification program through Vomtech, becoming a certified para-practitioner. Integrating Dr. Bill’s teachings into my existing bodywork practice expanded the way I looked at the horse and deepened my understanding of the relationship between the physical and energetic aspects of the body.

Over the years, I have completed more than 25,000 equine bodywork sessions, many involving musculoskeletal concerns. This extensive hands-on experience has given me a deep, practical understanding of the horse’s body, movement, and the many factors that can influence comfort and mobility.

Today, my approach incorporates both musculoskeletal and energetic perspectives, with an emphasis on supporting spinal comfort, mobility, flexibility, and the horse’s ability to move with greater freedom and ease.

Every horse is an individual, and I believe effective bodywork begins with listening—observing what the horse’s body is communicating and responding to those individual needs.

My goal is simple: to help each horse feel more comfortable, move more freely, and support their overall well-being.

Important Note: My work is intended to support equine musculoskeletal comfort and mobility and to promote energetic wellness. I am not a veterinarian, and my services are not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment. When a horse has a medical concern, injury, or unexplained change in condition, I encourage owners to seek appropriate veterinary care.
